Rules of Complaint Raised against the Grant of TW English Second Level Domain Name Registration
    Approved by the 41st Domain Name Committee on June, 28, 2005

    1. Reasons of complaint
    An applicant, who has already filed pre-registration application in accordance with relevant rules may have right to file a complaint with TWNIC only when TWNIC did not grant of TW English Second Level Domain Name Registration in accordance with the rules publicized by TWNIC within “period of filing a complaint”. A complaint shall not be accepted and be rejected directly if such a complaint has nothing to do with the principles governing the grant of registration

    2. Period of filing a complaint
    An applicant may file a complaint about the result of pre-registration application during pre-registration period within 15 calendar days after such result of pre-registration application announced.

    3. Providing evidence about complaint
    An applicant, who has already filed pre-registration application in accordance with relevant rules, shall file a complaint with evidence that may prove TWNIC did not grant the TW English Second Level Domain Name subject to relevant rules governing the grant of registration within pre-registration period. A complaint without providing relevant evidence or being not fulfilled the application form in accordance with this Rules shall not be accepted.

    4. Procedure of filing a complaint
    A complaint shall be filled in “Application Form for Filing a Complaint about the result of TW English Second Level Domain Name Registration” with evidence, and sent to Taiwan Network Information Center within specific period (subject to the date of postmark), Address: 4F.-2, No.9, Sec. 2, Roosevelt Rd., Da-an District, Taipei City 106, Taiwan (R.O.C.) and the addressee shall be “Working Group of Starting TW English Second Level Domain Name Registration Service”.

    5. Dispute Resolution
    “Working Group of Starting TW English Second Level Domain Name Registration Service” shall make decisions about these complaints within 15 calendar days after the end of filing a complaint period (the period may be extended depend on the amount of case, but shall not exceed 30 calendar days). Such decisions shall be the final and legal binding decisions. TWNIC shall not be responsible for any loss caused by any change of dispute resolution.
