In considering of the future need for the Internet communities and public interest, there are six types of reserved words in TW English Second Level Domain Name Registration Service:

(1) 78 reserved words for governmental use.

(2) 120 reserved words for specific numbers based on for public interest.

(3) 17 reserved words which have been approved by ICANN as Top Level Domain Names for registration at present.

(4) 187 reserved words which have been applied with ICANN as Top Level Domain Names.

(5) 465 reserved words for the countries name in the world and their 3-character abbreviations.

(6) 36 reserved words for TWNIC.

The above-mentioned reserved words are not available for registration. If there are any needs for registration, approval by the Domain Name Committee of TWNIC shall be required.
